Program Overview

Frontline’s Youth Martial Arts program is designed to build character while teaching safe, effective martial skills. Classes combine striking, grappling basics, situational awareness and non-violent conflict resolution. We use structured curricula and a belt/progression system so kids set goals and celebrate achievements.

What to Expect in Your First Class

  • Warm-up games and movement drills

  • Core technique teaching (stances, footwork, basic strikes, breakfalls)

  • Partner drills with focus on control and safety

  • Character lesson (respect, focus, responsibility)

  • To finish up we thank our teammates and acknowledge anyone receiving a promotion

Class Types & Progressions

  • Tots (Ages 3–5): Play-based introduction to balance, coordination and following coach cues.

  • Kids Class (Ages 6–11): Fundamental technique, safe sparring principles, and goal-oriented belt progressions.

  • Teens Class (Ages 12–17): More technical training, fitness, and leadership opportunities.

  • Self‑Defence Workshops: Practical, scenario-based training for real-world safety.

  • Competition & Performance: Optional training for kids interested in sport competition (sparring rules and safety-focused coaching).
