Frontline on the Competition Floor — From the Fraser Valley to SoCal

September 29, 2026

This past weekend was a big one for the Frontline community, with five Frontline athletes stepping onto competition floors at two major events — the Fraser Valley Throwdown here at home and Wodapalooza SoCal in Huntington Beach, California.

We want to recognize Paige Conzatti, Cori Kristensen, Paul Conzatti, Kari Werner and Jordan Haddan for putting themselves out there, doing the work and representing the Frontline community.

Fraser Valley Throwdown

The Fraser Valley Throwdown, held at the Richmond Olympic Oval, brought together athletes from gyms throughout British Columbia and beyond for a full weekend of functional fitness competition.

Frontline was proudly represented by Paige Conzatti, Cori Kristensen, and Paul Conzatti.

Paige and Cori took on the Scaled division, while Paul competed in Intermediate. Susan joined them in representing Frontline and cheering them on throughout the weekend.

Competition is about much more than where your name ultimately lands on a leaderboard. Getting onto that floor means committing to the training beforehand, being willing to test yourself publicly, dealing with the nerves and fatigue of competition, and continuing to step up when the next event is called.

Paige, Cori, and Paul did exactly that.

Seeing Frontline represented at an event like the Fraser Valley Throwdown is something our coaches and members can all take pride in.

Frontline Goes to Wodapalooza SoCal

At the same time, more than 2,000 kilometres away, Kari Werner and Jordan Haddan teamed up to take on Wodapalooza SoCal in Huntington Beach, California.

Wodapalooza is one of the most recognizable names in functional fitness competition, bringing athletes together from around the world.

For Kari and Jordan, this wasn’t simply a matter of showing up for a weekend workout. Preparing, travelling to California and stepping onto a stage like Wodapalooza together represents a significant commitment to the sport.

And they did it together, as teammates and members of the Frontline community.

Five Athletes. Two Competitions. One Community.

There will always be scores, times, rankings and leaderboards in competition. They’re part of the sport. But there is another side of competition that matters just as much to us. Every Frontline athlete who steps onto a competition floor carries a little bit of this gym with them.

It’s the early mornings and late evenings. The missed lifts and the PRs. The hard workouts nobody sees outside the gym. The coaches offering advice. The training partners pushing the pace. And the members standing nearby encouraging someone through those final few reps.

That’s the community behind the athlete when competition day arrives.

So congratulations to Paige, Cori, Paul, Kari and Jordan.

Thank you for having the courage to test yourselves, for putting in the work required to get there, and most importantly, for representing Frontline and the people you train beside every week.

From the Richmond Olympic Oval to Huntington Beach, Frontline was on the competition floor this weekend.

And we couldn’t be happier to see it.Congratulations, team.
